The landscape is a view of Spirit Island in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. The island is said to be the scene of a heart breaking story of forbidden love between a boy and a girl from rivaling tribes. They met in secret on spirit island but the girl was forbidden to see her love by her father the chieftain of the tribe. The boy continued to look for the girl each day at noon on the island even after his death so to this day his spirit still haunts the island.
